Current phase

your cycle phase is unclear right now.

that is not a missing piece. Bodies do not always read like calendars, perimenopause, PCOS, stress, and hormonal contraception all blur the lines. Keep logging and the pattern shows itself.

This cycle vs last cycle

Log your period start and end above and we'll show your last cycle next to this one — side by side, no guessing.

Personalized period care

Once you log this period's symptoms above, Keza will pull evidence-based recommendations tailored to you — and start tracking what triggers worsen each one so we can prepare for next cycle.

Your period playbook

As you log "what helped" and "what made it worse" each cycle, Keza builds your personal do / don't list — with the science behind why each one matters.

Period data table

Once you log a period above, every cycle will appear here in a doctor-prep-ready table.

Irregular cycle support

Your cycle is not broken. It is information.

Irregular does not mean unknowable — it means we track signs, not dates.

If you have PCOS, perimenopause, postpartum, thyroid shifts, or stress chapters, your cycle is responding to your real life. That is biology, not failure.

Your pattern so far

Keep logging — once Keza has 2+ cycles, your personal pattern replaces any guess.

How to predict it anyway

  • Log 3 cycle signs at the same time of day

Cervical mucus + BBT + LH strips together are the gold-standard combo for irregular cycles. One sign alone is noise; three together is a signal.

  • Use ranges, not dates

If your cycle has varied by more than 7 days in the last year, Keza shows a fertile window and a period window — not a single date. That is more honest than a fake countdown.

    STRAW+10 · Reproductive aging staging (Harlow 2012)
  • Watch for ovulation skips

If you do not see an LH surge or a sustained BBT rise across 2 cycles, that is clinically meaningful. Bring the log to your OB/GYN — anovulation is treatable.

  • Flag urgent patterns

Bleeding >7 days, cycles <21 or >35 days persistently, or no period for 90+ days deserves evaluation. This is not a panic flag — it is a 'worth checking' flag.

Pinpoint your ovulation

irregular cycle mode

Your cycles vary, so the calendar gives a window, not a date. Use the clinical signs below to confirm the actual day.

LH ovulation strips

How: Test daily with first-morning or afternoon urine starting cycle day 8 if irregular. Keep testing until you get a positive.

What to look for: A test line as dark as or darker than the control line = LH surge. Ovulation usually happens 24–36 hours later.

NIH · Luteinizing hormone (LH) surge

Basal body temperature (BBT)

How: Take your temperature with a BBT thermometer the moment you wake, before moving. Log daily.

What to look for: A sustained 0.4–1.0°F rise that lasts 3+ days confirms ovulation has already happened. Use it retrospectively to map your pattern.

ACOG · Fertility Awareness-Based Methods (FAQ024)

Cervical mucus pattern

How: Check tissue/underwear daily. Track texture: dry → sticky → creamy → wet → egg-white (clear, stretchy).

What to look for: Egg-white, stretchy mucus that pulls 1+ inch between fingers = peak fertility. Ovulation usually within 1–2 days.

ACOG · Fertility Awareness-Based Methods (FAQ024)

Cervical position

How: Wash hands, check daily in the same position. Track: low/firm/closed vs high/soft/open.

What to look for: High, soft, open, and wet = fertile window. Returns to low/firm/closed in the luteal phase.
